Questions about connecting

Do I need a Keta pass?

To make videos, yes. Added by URL, Keta can show the plan and a checkout link; you pay on ketagen.com, in crypto. From ChatGPT’s plugin directory, a new account will get one video first.

Do I need an API key?

No. Your app opens ketagen.com, you sign in with the code we email you, and you approve the app. There’s nothing to paste but the server URL.

Is Keta in ChatGPT’s plugin directory?

Not yet. Keta is coming to ChatGPT’s plugin directory. Until it’s listed, a ChatGPT workspace that allows custom MCP servers can add Keta with the server URL. Sources: Plugins in ChatGPT, OpenAI Help Center.

Does it count toward my limit?

Yes. A video counts when it starts, as in the Studio. Your limits, 100 a day and 4 at once on the plan, are shared by the Studio and every app.

What does the app’s maker see?

What the app asks Keta for: your pass, today’s count, a masked email, your library, your videos’ prompts and links, and anything else you ask about, like your groupbuy’s roster. Never your sign-in devices. Read the privacy policy for connected apps.

How do I disconnect an app?

In the Studio, open MCP and choose Disconnect beside the app. Without a pass, go to ketagen.com/oauth/apps/. It loses access within seconds. Open MCP in the Studio.
