Where they differ about referrals, these terms win. #### [What you earn](https://ketagen.com/referral-terms/#what-you-earn) By default you earn 10% of what a member you referred pays for their first purchase: $50 on a full $500 month. Only that first paid order counts. We may set a different rate for a referrer. Your rate is the one shown on your Referrals page, and it applies when the member's payment confirms. A change never alters a reward already recorded. Renewals and later payments earn nothing. Test payments made with test coins earn nothing. #### [Groupbuys never earn a reward](https://ketagen.com/referral-terms/#groupbuys) No reward is earned on any order made with a groupbuy code, whether the member paid for their own seat or the groupbuy owner prepaid it. Because only the first paid order counts, a member whose first paid order was a groupbuy seat never earns their referrer a reward, even if they later pay the full price. #### [Groupbuy owner share (a separate arrangement)](https://ketagen.com/referral-terms/#groupbuy-owner-share) Keta and a groupbuy's owner can agree an owner share for that groupbuy: a whole percent of what each member pays Keta for their seat. It's recorded when the payment confirms and waits 7 days (less for trusted accounts). Then Keta sends it by hand, in crypto, to the payout wallet you confirmed by email. Prepaid seats, test payments and an owner's own seat earn nothing. A payment that's reversed or charged back voids its share, and one already paid may be recovered. This is separate from referrals: groupbuy orders still earn no referral reward. #### [Your links and who counts as yours](https://ketagen.com/referral-terms/#links) Each member gets a link (ketagen.com/?ref= and a random code) and can add up to 5 custom codes of 3 to 24 letters, numbers or hyphens. Words kept for Keta can't be used. A code you turn off stays yours and is never given to anyone else. A member counts as yours when they first reach Keta through one of your links and then create their account. The first link wins, and a member's referrer never changes. Each member has one referrer at most. When the visitor allows "Referrals" in their privacy choices, their browser remembers the link for 30 days. Without that choice, nothing is stored, so the link counts only if they create their account in the same browser while a Keta page from that visit is still open, and even then we can't promise it will. #### [No self-referral](https://ketagen.com/referral-terms/#no-self-referral) You can't earn a reward on your own purchase. That includes a second account with the same email (for example with a +tag or extra dots in a Gmail address) and any account that uses the same payout wallet as yours. Rewards like these are recorded as void and never paid. We can also void them when we find them later. #### [When and how you are paid](https://ketagen.com/referral-terms/#hold-and-payout) A reward becomes payable 7 days after the member's payment confirms. We may shorten that hold for referrers we trust. We pay payable rewards by hand, in crypto, to the payout wallet you set in Referrals. A new or changed wallet counts only after you confirm it from the link we email you (the link works once, for 24 hours). We don't pay to an unconfirmed wallet. Each payout shows in Referrals with its date, amount, network and transaction. Check your network and address: a payment sent to the address you gave can't be recovered. #### [When a reward is voided](https://ketagen.com/referral-terms/#voiding) We can void a reward before it is paid, with a reason, when the payment behind it is reversed or charged back, when it breaks these terms (self-referral, spam, misleading promotion) or when we see abuse. A paid reward is not voided. #### [How to share your link](https://ketagen.com/referral-terms/#promoting) Say that you earn a reward when someone joins through your link, every time you share it, where people will see it before they click: for example "I earn a reward if you join Keta through my link." - No spam or unwanted messages. - No claims Keta doesn't make. - No ads on Keta's name or brand. - Never pose as Keta or its staff. A video may not be unique: someone else can get a similar result. You let us store, process and show your uploads and videos to you, and send them to the model to render. Other Keta users can't see them. A file you upload twice is kept once. To make a video, the uploads that render uses are copied to the file storage of Keta's processing backend, a third-party storage service, for the render. Each copy sits at a public link that can't be guessed. The backend sends your prompt and those copies to the video model provider, which renders the video. The finished video comes back to your library. #### [Training](https://ketagen.com/privacy/#training) Keta doesn't train AI models on your uploads, prompts or videos. The video model provider's terms let it use content sent to it to improve its models, unless an enterprise agreement says otherwise. So treat what you send to render as shared with that provider for that purpose. #### [Who holds it for us](https://ketagen.com/privacy/#who-holds-it) - Supabase: accounts, orders, uploads and studio records. - Paymento (Prokey Technologies Inc.): crypto invoices and payment status. - Cloudflare: hosting, bot checks and the country of each visit. - Railway: hosts Keta's processing backend, which sends your renders to the video model provider. - A third-party storage service used by that backend: copies of the uploads a render uses. - The video model provider: prompts and uploads, to render your videos. - Resend: the emails we send you. - Your browser's push service (Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft), only if you turn on notifications: the address it gives your browser, and each notification, encrypted so only your browser can read it. Turn them off any time in Settings. - OpenAI's moderation service: prompts sent from connected apps, and images they add to your library, checked before rendering or storing. We give data to authorities only when the law requires it, or to report child sexual abuse material. #### [Location and sanctions checks](https://ketagen.com/privacy/#location) Cloudflare tells us roughly where each visit comes from, worked out from the IP address. Checkout uses the country to keep out sanctioned regions. We never ask for your precise location. Rate limits use a salted hash of your IP address. Security records keep the address itself; see the next section. #### [Devices and sign-ins](https://ketagen.com/privacy/#devices) To keep accounts safe, prevent fraud and allow one active session per account, we record each sign-in, each video you start in the Studio, and each time a session moves to a new network or browser. A record holds: - Network: your IP address, your network provider (its ASN and name), and connection details (HTTP and TLS versions, the Cloudflare data centre that served you, and Cloudflare's bot signals where our plan includes them). - Location: roughly where you are, as Cloudflare works it out from your IP address (country, region, city, postal code, rough coordinates and time zone). - Browser: the user agent (browser, operating system, device type and model), the client hints and the languages your browser sends. - Device summary, sent by Keta's pages: screen size and pixel ratio, time zone, languages, platform, processor threads, device memory, touch points, and a code made from these that stays the same on the same device. Only Keta staff can see these records. We keep them for 12 months, then delete them. A new sign-in ends your other sessions. #### [Connected apps](https://ketagen.com/privacy/#connected-apps) You can connect an AI app, such as ChatGPT or Claude, to your Keta account. When you do, we receive and keep: - The connection: the app's name, what you allowed it to do, and when you connected, last used or disconnected it. - The browser you approved it in: a salted hash of its IP address, and its user agent. - What the app sends for you: prompts, the library items and settings you pick, support messages and codes. - Refusals: a prompt or an added image from an app that our checks refuse, or a prompt the video model provider blocks, and the rule it broke (we don't keep a refused image). Videos an app starts keep no device record; we record the browser you approved it in once, when you connect. We use this to make the videos you ask for, to keep your account secure and to enforce the [acceptable use policy](https://ketagen.com/acceptable-use/). Prompts from connected apps, and images they add to your library, are also checked by OpenAI's moderation service before rendering or storing. The app's provider, such as OpenAI for ChatGPT or Anthropic for Claude, receives what the app asks Keta for: your pass, today's count, a masked email, your library's names, your videos' prompts, status and links, and anything else you ask about. Its privacy policy applies. If you run a groupbuy, the app's provider also receives its roster when you ask: each member's initials, masked email, seat status and dates. If you're in a groupbuy, its owner sees the same, in the Studio and in apps they connect. We keep a connection's record while your account is open, and refusals from apps for 12 months.
